Cathy Cady Memorial Scholarship

Cathy S. Cady was born in Flint on September 14, 1949 and has been a member of, and served, the Flint community throughout her life. A graduate of Northwestern High School in 1967 and alum of Mott Community College, Cathy was committed to the value of education. An employee of General Motors Service Parts Operations (GM-SPO) for 32 years and most recently the Manager of Customer Electronic Communications, Cathy recognized the need to give back to the community. Sadly, Ms. Cady passed away at the age of 52 on January 26, 2001.

Embracing her value for education and the Flint community, the family of Cathy Cady has expressed a commitment to enabling others in pursuit of higher education and have established the Cathy Murray Cady Memorial Scholarship in her memory. The goal of this scholarship is to perpetuate the success of the college, its students, and the community. It is the objective of the family to provide the opportunity to any student wishing to apply for this scholarship.
