Jennifer A. O'Neil Graphic Design
This scholarship is being established by the family and friends of Jennifer A. O’Neil, a student at Mott Community College who tragically passed away at the age of 24 while pursuing her dream of an Associate Degree in Graphic Arts and Design. A determined, goal-oriented, hard working individual, Jennifer studiously pursued her Associate Degree in Graphic Arts and Design at MCC and made a significant impact on students and faculty alike. A talented, self-less leader, Jenny’s design concepts were unique and original, making her stand out amongst her peers. Her high standards and dedication made her the inspiration of others; and, her knowledge of graphic design and her giving personality shined when, time and again, students sought her assistance with their projects. Embracing Jennifer’s inspirational spirit, family and friends of Jennifer O’Neil have expressed a commitment to enabling others in pursuit of a graphic arts and design degree and have established the Jennifer A. O’Neil Graphic Arts and Design Endowment Scholarship in her memory. It is the objective of the family to provide the opportunity of higher education to any student pursuing an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science – Graphic Design. The scholarship is based on both financial need and merit.
