Akhila & Rajamani Endowment

The Akhila and Rajamani Scholarship was established in 2006 in honor of Ms. Akhila Rajamani and Mr. C.R. Rajamani, the parents of Chandrika Shantaram. Mr. Rajamani was a book publisher by profession. He is and has been a great lover and reader of books, despite a vision problem. Mr. Rajamani and Akhila Rajamani are not college graduates, but provided a college education for their four children: all three daughters have master’s degrees and their son holds a doctorate. The donors value campus life and believe academic studies are paramount.
