Llyod Rodnick Scholarship

Lloyd Rodnick was one of those rare people who made life enjoyable for others. In 1962, Mr. Rodnick became an English Instructor at Mott Community College and was one of the most beloved Instructors in MCC’s history. His former college Joe Bommarito stated “He is a model of courage and good humor, of affection, and harmony in the most trying circumstances.” In an unprecedented outpouring of love prior to Mr. Rodnick’s passing in November, 1990; many of his collegues honored him by recommending him as “Employee of the Month for December”. They expressed appreciation for his consistent service to the students, his spirit, his ‘never give up attitude’, his wit and humor, his richness in his perception of life and also his ability to inspire so many students. This scholarship was created in honor of Lloyd Rodnick.
